Why do you keep sending me monstrous phone books? Since moving to Texas just over a month ago, we have received about three different phone books. At first, I filed one away thinking “oh, maybe someday I will need it”. But what about the next two that came, what am I supposed to do with those? Heck, I remember moving to Purdue and we filed one phone book away just like I did here, and I never even cracked it open. Don’t you realize that our generation looks anything and everything up on the internet? I don’t need a phonebook, let alone three!
There should be some sort of opt-out program of phone book deliveries, cause this is a waste of your money, and my time. I realize that you probably generate your income from the ads based on the number of people your phonebook is distributed to, but just a heads up, that business model is dying. Soon, businesses will realize that they are wasting their money advertising in phonebooks, and they will abandon you. Perhaps then I can look forward to not dealing with giant yellow books thrown at my door.
