My oh my this company likes to get around (aka keep changing names so people can’t get information on the scam-company as easily).

As of today, with my previous post about Watson Brooks, I have received many comments about similar shell company names that this shady company uses.  It appears that they are using at least 8 different company names.  Many of the actual websites appear to be down, but people continue to get letters from them:

But three are still up and rocking that awful website music:

Alas, I have heard nothing more from them to me about their legal threats.  I keep checking my Facebook inbox and I guess Amy Yates doesn’t want to be friends.  Also, it appears they have at least four letter signers of fake Vice Presidents to:

  • Amy Yates
  • Sandra Wallace
  • Julie Harris
  • Ashley Wilcox
  • Jacqueline Penn

I wouldn’t put it past this company to continue to put these letters out under different shell company names.  If you know of any others, let me know in the comments so I can add it to the list.

Update 9/18: Added a new company name and Vice President to the list – thanks to Sam for sharing another shell company name!  Also – it appears that all of these shell companies are being driven by “TravelAgencyAppointment.com“.  It looks like most of these shell company sites are down, but they are certainly still pumping out the scam letters.  This is getting down right stupid.

I received two of these letters from a company without a company name on the letter just a logo. Patricia Carpenter was the VP. Today I received a letter from Bradley Tate saying they had tried to contact me before. Apparently they didn’t realize, or thought I wouldn’t realize, they changed their name in the interim. This letter claims to be their last attempt to contact me. I hope that, at least, is true.

Ray on 10 August, 2009 at 1:50 pm #

I received a letter from Bradley Tate signed by Sandra Wallace, V. P. Travel Awards Division. I called and was told they were a travel agency just starting up business in the Dallas area, but when I checked their website there was nothing about being an agency. Glad I found your blog.

Carolyn on 10 August, 2009 at 3:33 pm #

Yep…I got the Bradley Tate come on today too. I was immediately suspicious when I saw the postmark was Arizona, but they were claiming to do business in Delaware. But I’m glad your site was here so I could confirm my gut reaction. Thank you!

Anonymous on 10 August, 2009 at 6:47 pm #

yep!!! i received the famous letter too from vice president Sandra Wallace. Thank you! Thank you! for your website. i was googling trying to find out if this was a scam. sure enough found your website…thank you for the heads up.

Anonymous on 10 August, 2009 at 9:46 pm #

I just received a letter from Bradley Tate signed by Sandra Wallace. I, too, was suspicious when I noticed the postmark in AZ, but the letter was claiming to be from TX. Thanks for posting this information on your website.

Anonymous on 10 August, 2009 at 10:24 pm #

My husband also received Bradley Tate letter from Sandra Wallace, new # 214-932-0053. Also interesting find on google, Sandra Wallace and Bradley Tate are both missing 1984 alumni from Trent University, see website

I got one too today from Sandra Wallace but now she has a Alabama phone # 251-725-5150! Wow! Scam

David on 13 August, 2009 at 9:28 pm #

Ahhh, it’s nice to see I’m in good company. I too received a Bradley Tate letter from Sandra Wallace. My, how does she get any real work done when she’s so busy writing and sending out all those letters??? One thing’s for sure…if I had all the money she (and her buddies) use on postage, I could retire! Thanks for the website!

CBryant on 14 August, 2009 at 9:14 am #

Thanks for your info. My husband received an identical letter from Sandra Wallace of Bradley Tate. (214-932-0054) I think we’ll just let them isue the ticket vouchers to the “alternate.”

Jonathan on 14 August, 2009 at 9:26 am #

So glad I found your information! I received a letter as well, from Sandra Wallace of Bradley Tate. There was no return address. The contact information was a San Antonio number.

joe on 14 August, 2009 at 9:45 am #

I also received a letter. i opened it today (14th)and read that i needed to contact them by the 13th. i am glad i did the google search.

alida on 14 August, 2009 at 10:29 am #

Sandra sent my husband one as well. It has a local phone number of (302) 526-5220 and we have nine days to respond. Has anyone called to see what they say or tried to get the airline tickets?

Rob on 14 August, 2009 at 1:36 pm #

To Alida – I called and I get the standard if you like to make a call please hang up and try again. I sent them an e-mail on their website so I will see if they get back to me.

sheila on 14 August, 2009 at 4:28 pm #

Got the letter today saying I must resonde by 8/20/09. I’m in Delaware & it was a local #. Of course, did research first, did not respond. I do some sweepstakes, but did not recall this one. Glad I checked before I called.

Not a dumb as I look, maybe on 14 August, 2009 at 4:32 pm #

Yep, I received a letter from Bradley Tate V-P Sandra Wallace. This time dear old Sandra is in Dover Delaware.
Her letter states that they have made several attempts at contacting me and that this is their last attempt. She is informing me that have 6 days to call 302-526-5220 to claim my award, $1,400 airline award.

Mike Hall on 15 August, 2009 at 8:11 am #

We received a letter from Sandra are supposed to have an appointment at 9:45. What is the process, and what is the scam? Do you get the tickets???

this is scam on 15 August, 2009 at 10:55 am #

I received same letter from Sandra Wallace with DE phone # 302 526 5220, with letter post marked from Phoenix.

Anon on 15 August, 2009 at 11:16 am #

I got Sandra Wallace 210-301-0086

Bee on 17 August, 2009 at 10:32 am #

My husband received a letter as well. No legitimate company sends a letter without a return address on the letterhead or the envelope. Don’t know what they are after but if we get another letter, I will get my Attorney boss after them.

Not a dumb as I look, maybe on 17 August, 2009 at 11:38 am #

Bradley-Tate has a weird web-site. No telephone number on it and none of the tabs on the site work.
The letter that I received was postmarked Phoenix, AZ, without a return address.
Although I am certain this is a scam, I cannot figure out what exactly this bunch is up to. Has anyone followed up their letter and/ or spoken with these folks?

Glad I found your site! on 17 August, 2009 at 11:50 am #

I got a letter today (8/17/09) same as all the others – postmarked AZ – signed by Sandra Wallace, and phone number for somewhere in Delaware.

Anonymous on 17 August, 2009 at 1:15 pm #

Has any one called? What’s the scam?

Tony on 17 August, 2009 at 5:13 pm #

Sandra gets around. The letter I received has a Dallas, Tx number 214-414-3569. These scam artists need to be stopped. Some poor folks fall victim to these guys.

Tom on 17 August, 2009 at 5:26 pm #

Boy, are you folks ALL confused! Sandra Wallace is CLEARLY in Dallas – it says so, right here on the letter I have to reply to by the 20th of Aug!

Her “new” phone number is 214-414-3569.

Please, tell me there aren’t many folks dumb enough to fall for this?

Shane on 17 August, 2009 at 5:39 pm #

Recvd letter today, Aug 17, dated Aug 11th. From Bradley Tate, same drill as you describe, signed by Sandra Wallace VP, mailed from AZ. Phone number 214-414-3569.

So, I get that it’s a scam, but what’s the scam? Do they try to get you to buy something or what?

chris on 17 August, 2009 at 6:33 pm #

Sandra wants me to call a Ft Worth number – I think we’ll let the alternate pick up these tickets. Can’t figure out what the scam is though, but they’re spending a lot to mail these letters

MB on 17 August, 2009 at 7:08 pm #

Well, tried calling Sandra. This time she has a Houston number. Was told by Megan that Sandra wasn’t there and could she take my number. I insisted on talking to Sandra and was told that Sandra was a Vice Pres. and was VERY busy and that I should call back another time… Anyway, hope these folks go broke on postage and nobody bothers to contact them. Sandra isn’t available anyway… SMILE

mark on 17 August, 2009 at 7:17 pm #

Great to find this site. I’d like to know if anyone has actually followed through and tried to meet with them? I got mine today from Sandra W in Newark DE. I was given an exact address by “Heather.” I was told that I would need to listen to an offer for 1-1.5 hours at their facility in Newark. I asked about children and was told that they’re not allowed to come. My only other commitment would be to pay the tax on the tickets, capped at $50 and due upon redemption from the airline. The Internet is a beautiful thing.

Chris on 18 August, 2009 at 12:30 am #

So I got the dallas sandra wallace letter, and simply typing in bradley tate ala google led me here. I am curious as to how these people got my name and address. Surely there must be something we all have in common? Anyone else or their husband receiving get scammed on ebay or anything recently?

motseyah on 18 August, 2009 at 7:35 am #

Got the same, Bradley Tate/Sandra Wallace letter yesterday. The # was 302-526-5220. Perhaps the scam is; If you call the number, they will have a record of your call and may then by-pass the No call list, as they have a record of YOU calling them. Just a thought. And, no, I didn’t call – and won’t.

coneill on 18 August, 2009 at 9:16 am #

Ms. Wallace of Delaware has “attempted to contact me several times WITHOUT SUCCESS”…gee what a break!

sb on 18 August, 2009 at 9:26 am #

Thanks for putting this blog up.. I usually believe it’s it sounds too good to be true… IT IS! thanks!

Debbie on 18 August, 2009 at 6:01 pm #

My husband received a letter from Sandra Wallace as well. I see from the blog that she has addresses all over the place. Well you can add Phoenix, Arizona to that list. I’ve been trying to find an addresses for her. I’d love to pay her a visit. Wouldn’t she be surprised to meet me? Their website doesn’t have one either. Oh well. I hope this doesn’t become a probably. The Better Business Bureau will search the number for nothing providing you put in a claim of harassment with them.

vicki on 18 August, 2009 at 6:05 pm #

Just received one today in Phoenix. signed by Sandra Tate with a phone number 480 281 0114. The handwritten address and no return address gave it away. Scamsville. also hate the web music

Also received a letter in the mail today from Bradley Tate, signed Sandra Wallace, VP of Travel Awards Division. I’m in Mesa, AZ. Same phone number as above, 480-281-0114, no address.

Mark on 18 August, 2009 at 7:37 pm #

Im in PA and received the letter from Sandra Wallace… Phone number 302-526-5220. Reported to USPS.

Lori on 18 August, 2009 at 9:21 pm #

I also a letter today from Bradley Tate signed by Sandra Wallace, V. P. Travel Awards Division saying I must respond by 8/20/09. I’m in Arizona & it was a local number. So, I called them and asked for Sandra; a girl told me she was her assistant and asked, if SHE could help me. Hearing the other “assistants” in the background, I said, “no thanks, I’ll try back”… she quickly said, “Ms. Wallace won’t be in for (brief pause to think something up) 2 weeks!” I said, “That’s ok, I’ll call back then.” I hung up, Googled and here I am! Glad to have let my award go to the “alternate.” ;)
Personally, I prefer to conduct business with people I know and like. Same goes for my own clients. As a real estate agent, I must make my share of cold calls, but I will not use a guise, lies, bullying or other manipulating to get someone to do business with me. GOOD business is based in relationships – those take time and trust, not letters from fake VPs of unscrupulous firms.

livia on 19 August, 2009 at 11:39 pm #

I also got one with the phoenix number and must reply by 8-20-09. I knew it was some sore of scam. Has anyone filed a complaint with The Attorney General or called that number and said I have referred my tickets to the State Attorney General? I wish people would work as hard at real work as they do at trying to scam people.

Bryant on 20 August, 2009 at 8:52 am #

I just called today and someone picked up saying that they were a Travel Agency looking to expanding into the Dllas Market. They are located near the Galleria Mall in Dallas. They stated that you had to be a married or a cohabitating couple in order to come in for the 1.5 hour tour. I believe this is one of those timeshare proposals. They get you to see the timeshares they have available and they do everything in thier power to get you to sign up. They will not let you leave until you sign up. I dont like the hard sell of those companies so I don’t deal with them. As for those airline tickets, you probably will have a hard time getting them if you dont buy what they are selling.

JF on 20 August, 2009 at 4:01 pm #

My wife just got the same letter described by others here. I seem to recall having gotten similar letters several years ago. I believe that, at best, you can expect a trip to some location for a high-pressure real estate sales pitch before you get to go where you want to.

Jim on 20 August, 2009 at 5:40 pm #

Got my letter today from Sandra Wallace who now happens to office out of San Antonio, Tx. I contacted her “personal assistant” Tim Lindsay who said Ms. Wallace was unavailable for two weeks; however he could explain the details to me. I was asked to attend a 90 minute presentation at GT Travel located at 1102 E. Sonterra, Suite 100 in San Antonio. I was assured it would be a no pressure sales pitch involving time share purchases, etc. Given the experiences of others with Bradley Tate across the country, it does sound like this is a scam of some sort. However, nobody has posted attending one of their meetings to verify their “process.” Nonetheless, I believe that if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is a scam. Needless to say, I won’t be attending their presentation.

L Lorimer on 20 August, 2009 at 6:04 pm #

You’re all wrong!
Sandra is in San Antonio – 210 301 0086.

That’s a Newark number (that’s our college town) but I understand some of those numbers are bumping overseas.

My husband just got a letter from Ashley Wilcox with a Dallas number 214 530-0095. Thanks so much for the heads up!!

Newark Delaware Resident on 22 August, 2009 at 5:59 pm #

I got one of these too but mine was Ashley Wilcox. Look at the facts;
No postmark on the envelope.
Name and address printed by a machine but made to look hand written.
I must respond by Aug 27 but I have to call them if I decline it too just so it can be given to an alternate. (this covers both bases)
It never uses the word “won” just “qualified”.
They never say how I qualified and the website doesn’t say what the company actually does.
The website comes up as “untitled document” in your history file instead of an actual website.
There is no Hudson Stone listed in Newark or even Delaware.
When you call the number at 6:00pm on a Saturday someone picks up (most legitimate office type businesses are closed at that hour) and you can hear multiple other operators in the background. (Boiler room operation)
They won’t tell you what you are supposed to be listening to for 1.5 hrs.
This is definately a timeshare presentation! Even if they say it’s not, it is.

Ms. G on 22 August, 2009 at 9:18 pm #

Are you kidding me? There is no way I would even attempt to make the call either local or toll-free to confirm my letter from the now infamous, Ashely Wilcox – 302-781-3035. Beware, in confirming your letter, any comments you make can come back to haunt you in some way – especially, on the phone for 1.5 hours????Please…Oh yeah right, I just won 2 roundtrip tixs – give me a break!

Ms. G on 22 August, 2009 at 9:20 pm #

by the way, I am so glad I googled this site….thanks for the pertinent info!

John on 23 August, 2009 at 10:52 am #

SPAM via first class postage from Hudson Stone and the mysterious VP Ashley Wilcox at 302-781-3035…located somewhere on Academy Street in Newark, DE – As with SPAM emails a free lunch is offered for no cost in this case two roundtrip airline tickets. She did a nice job with the machine printed addressing that looked like it was hand written but there is no return address…first red flag. It is interesting that it was mailed from Phoenix, AZ but the ‘make believe’ VP Ashley Wilcox has you call Newark, DE…second red flag.
I didn’t bother to call because I delete SPAM on the computer!
There are no free lunches!

Geo on 24 August, 2009 at 7:15 am #

Yep, Ashley has set up shop in northern Deleware. The obviously fake printed script on the evelope and the signature was a dead giveaway of a scam. I’m sure this one will find some good rubes in this economy.

Geo – Not a Rube

You are all wrong, Ashley Wilcox, VP, Travel Awards Division of Hudson Stone just sent me a letter from AZ and her new phone number is 214-530-0095 (Dallas area code)—what a wonderful opportunity…if we could all get FREE tickets to see these people go to jail. I am contacting the mail fraud division also.

JR on 24 August, 2009 at 6:08 pm #

Well I just got my letter today from Ms. Ashley Wilcox, VP of Travel awards division, OF WHAT? I was advised to call her @ 302.781.3035 since she has attempted contacting me several times. Whew, glad I got my letter today, I got until August 27th to respond. Well folks, it would have been nice for us to all meet up in Arizona, Dallas Delaware and where ever she is now. I am glad that we all had the common sense to google (i love google) before we even attempted to get excited about winning 2 roundtrip airline tickets. Question though, which airline is it and where are they taking us??? I guess we will never get answers to that. Well so long folks, hope to see you guys soon, lol. If it wasn’t a recession I would just send a bunch of “thoughtful” letters back to them. One last thought, what is it that we all have in common or where did they get out home address from, I am sure someone sold it to them. I am going to do a little more investigating. ttyl

Grammy on 24 August, 2009 at 8:47 pm #

Received my letter from Ashley Wilcox to call a local Newark, DE phone number. I did call. I was told that they were a new travel agency in town and trying to get new business. If we would come to a 1.5 hr. presentation, he would give us 2 free RT airline tkts. to the destination of my choice. He specifically said this is not a time share pitch. They just want to tell us what travel services they offer. The address he told me to come to is 875 AAA Blvd. Newark, DE. The phone number to call is 302-781-3035. I am not brave enough or have the time to go to see what this is all about. I’ve read this entire blog and don’t see where anyone has gone to check it out. If someone has, please share!

Bob on 24 August, 2009 at 9:06 pm #

Wow, Ashley at Hudson Stone is trying to give me two airline tickets also! I’m in SE Pennsylvania, the number at Hudson Stone includes a northern Delaware area code. Letter also postmarked Phoenix, AZ. I thought the whole thing was fuzzy, wasn’t going to call, but I’m glad so many people used this blog. Thanks for the original post.

I got the letter today from the infamous or alias Ashley Wilcox. This chick is like a hooker just throwing her name all over the country trying to make some bucks off of us unsuspecting clients. However we all have thwarted her efforts to become a national whore. lol. She Sent me the Hudson Stone letter and it seems that she wants to take me for a ride. Being a married man I cannot oblige. She has the Dallas 214-530-0095 number thru MCI METRO ATS phone company but the name is unpublished. Humph, funny. I thought that if you wanted to make money you would WANT to have all contact info published. B-otch. Pisses me off. Don’t know how she got my info but she sent the letter to me addressed to me in my first name which I NEVER use unless signing legal documents. I always sign and use my middle name. B-otch! My wife works for a company with alot of resources and she is going to be doing some investigating. By the way, the BBB doesn’t have them listed. Only Bradley Tate in Denver CO, but no ratings. The Hudson Stone and the Bradley Tate websites are IDENTICAL and nonfunctional. Even the sadistic music. I think they are playing their funeral music. They better beware. There is a stranger coming for them on a pale horse and Hell is following with him. The scam is over.

Sincerely,

Pissed and ready to fight.

I received a letter in Denver the other day and contacted them and actually was going to go in and listen to their seminar(1 to 1.5 hrs)for airline vouchers, but cancelled when they asked
my wife and myself to bring in id and credit cards with name matching. This
of course sent up a red flag to me therefore cancelled meeting with Bradley

We received a letter from Hudston Stone on 8-18-09 signed by Ashley Wilcox at 214-530-0095. They invited us to 13355 Noel Road suite 1850 to a presentation by All Inclusive Excursions (AEI), which we attended on 8-26-09. In the presentation AEI stated their parent company is Sealand Travel Club. They try to get $8,995 to join to receive discounted travel. They offer a round trip ticket issued by Premier Choice Rewards. Searching the net I find that Sealand Travel is owned by Bill Bailey who has operated under Bon Voyage / SeaLand Travel Club / Castaways / Phoenix Vacations / Beachcombers. Bailey has numerous complaints. Also, Premier has number complaints and has operated under Infinity Incentive Group with the same P.O. Box 3479 in Lake Havasu City, AZ 866-667-2878.

The airline tickets offered are not free and require $100 registration as well as taxes, service fee etc.

They require that you show up with a credit card and you must purchase the package on the spot. As you resist they lower the fee trying to get a minimum of $1,000.

See http://www.ripoffreport.com/Bon-Voyage-Travel-SeaLand-Travel-Phoenix/Travel-Services/Bon-Voyage-Travel-SeaLand-Tr-785AC.htm

We did not pay any fees to these guys and in my opinion the round trip ticket voucher is worthless.

This is a well put together scam!

These people need to be arrested. My mother is a lawyer (and she gives me great advise) They have something coming to them… not from her, but from God and the law enforcement. Anyone that cruel gets their karma eventually as well. I’m having one of the worst days, hence week, and month of my life. I didn’t need this. I’m usually really good about picking out what’s a scam, phishing and non legit stuff, since I’m a graphic designer but this letter head, letter, and envelope are pretty convincing compared to most. The jacked up VP listed in my letter was Ashley Wilcox and her number is listed as a local San Antonio/ Bexar(TX) county number: (210) 301-0900. Please follow through with helping me catch these jerks! God bless and take care. I’m sorry for all others who received this crud.
